Great service. Sent laundry on Saturday morning before 10 am. For wash, dry, and fold. And a few items to be ironed as well. The staff finishes work at 4 pm, and can pick up around 3.30 pm. But since I'm going around the city, they offered to place my laundry in the locked locker without charges. I pick up around 7.30 pm, and they are all in good condition. The locker pass code will be sent over sms to pickup until the closing time, 9.30pm. It is a very convenient way to get my laundry on the same day and pick up during my convenient timings. They also have pickup and dropoff service to the hotel concierge, but they are not available on the weekends. I'm happy to say I found their service very, very helpful. I'll definitely be coming back again when I'm back in Melbourne City.

Clean place to do laundry with nice machines. Nice, friendly staff. Machines take credit card which is very convenient. Watched the care with which the staff did laundry services.

Happiness is....clean clothes when you are on the road....and The Lonely Sock brings much happiness ! Not just because it is the magic place where minging clothes can be made nice and fluffy again, but because the self service is easy to use (cards accepted) , clean, and staff are friendly and helpful ..which makes a HUGE difference compared to the average launderette around the world. Add in free wifi, a nice area to sit while you wait, and a 'borrow a book to read while you wait' library-ette adds the nice touch every launderette should have. There are even eateries on the doorstep if you prefer to grab a lunch while you wait. Prices are reasonable and wash/dry cycles fast and effective. Well done Lonely Sock...you have served me well and brought clean happiness back into my week :)

Nice and clean place. Friendly staff. Lots of washing machines (12) and dryers (15). Be aware that you can only pay by card (American express, JCB, mastercard or VISA) there is also free WiFi, Just look at the window for the password;-) You can even adopt a sock from the wall of lost socks, if you are in to that🙃 …

I was in Melbourne during the Australian Open and The Lonely Sock did an excellent job washing and folding and packaging my clothes. They are very convenient. I dropped off my clothes in the morning. They did a good job of washing and folding my clothes and the next morning I picked up my clothes that they put neatly in a new cloth bag. They do exactly what they say on their website. They are a short walking distance from the Southern Cross station. The price was very reasonable.. way less than hotel full service laundry services. Next time I'm in Melbourne I won't hesitate to use their wash and dry service. I didn't do this, but for a small fee you can have your clothes delivered to your hotel. Thank you.

Amazing place! You can pay by card only, use free WiFi, sit down and relax while your washing and drying is on. Read / borrow or swap a book for free, charge your phone or even have a soft drink in the meantime. Powder for the laundry also available t purchase. The man that greeted us was absolutely kind and willing to help us and described us everything.... highly recommended

I cannot rate The Lonely Sock highly enough. I travel to Melbourne on business quite often and was paying a ridiculous amount of money to have the hotel to laundry for me as I did not have the availability to do it myself. One of their massive laundry sacks would typically cost me more than four times as much to have the hotel launder it for me.. On top of that I get it delivered back to the hotel! The staff is always helpful and friendly. Wish I had found you guys sooner! Thank you once again!

Always went to this place to do my laundry everytime I visited Melbourne. The place is bright, clean and cozy. Their waiting place has books to read (I believe you can put books here as well). The paying system can be confusing and I made mistake when I first tried. I had double charged but it was refunded. I suggest to ask others or the staff if you are new. And come very early or during weekday to avoid crowd.

Quick and easy drop off for a wash and dry. The laundry was delivered back to my hotel thr same day. Fresh, clean, good smell. I definitely recommend for travellers in Melboirne CBD.

The place is clean and there’s plenty of washers and dryers available. 4 chairs and 4 stools available for people to sit and wait. Reading material is also here to keep yourself entertained if needed as well as coupons for tourist attractions. The washer and dryer worked well. The price is reasonable imo.
